About standard EN 17645 for the swimming pool sector<\/h3>\n

European standard EN 17645 was introduced in late 2022 to make swimming pools more energy efficient and sustainable. The standard specifies design and usage requirements, test methods and a rating scale for environmental performance. This results in energy labels, similar to those for homes, ranging from A (most economical) to F (least economical).<\/p>\n

The standard helps you as a pool builder improve the environmental performance of your pools. Customers can request information about their pool’s energy label and ways to make it more energy efficient. You can also proactively advise new customers about products that help them achieve an energy label A, which saves costs in the long run. This way you ensure satisfied customers and you contribute to a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n
